How does the booking process work?

Once you submit the enquiry form, a member of the mygolfGroup Travel team will contact you to learn more about your group, preferred travel dates and wider plans for Northern Ireland. If your plans are suitable for the programme, you will be invited to pay an initial holding deposit and join our Royal County Down 2028 Priority List.We will then work with you to finalise your preferred travel window, group size and requirements so that everything is prepared ahead of the release of 2028 tee times. Our Priority List is managed on a first-come, first-served basis, so registering and completing the process early is recommended.

Question 2

Does joining the Priority List guarantee me a RCD tee time?

Accepted Answer

No. Due to the extremely limited availability and high demand for Royal County Down, we cannot guarantee a tee time until it has been successfully secured and confirmed. Joining our Priority List gives you the best possible chance of securing a tee time. We have the knowledge, manpower and a few ‘tricks of trade’ that allows us to be successful.

Question 3

Is the initial deposit refundable?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If we are unable to secure a suitable RCD tee time for your group, your initial deposit will be refunded. Once a tee time has been successfully secured and confirmed at RCD, the deposit becomes non-refundable, and a further deposit will be required.

What are my chances of success?

While we cannot guarantee success, our track record is extremely strong. In recent years, we have successfully secured Royal County Down tee times for the majority of our clients who have gone through this process.

Question 5

What happens if you secure my RCD tee time?

Accepted Answer

Once your tee time is confirmed, our team will work closely with you to build the rest of your Northern Ireland golf itinerary around it. Depending on availability and your preferences, your trip could include courses such as Royal Portrush, Portstewart, Ardglass, and many more great links courses. Once this is done the another deposit will be due (totalling to 40% of the itinerary cost).

Question 6

If successful, how much does a standard Northern Ireland Itinerary cost?

Accepted Answer

As a guide, a Northern Ireland itinerary including 7 nights, 5 rounds of golf and transportation is expected to start from approximately €5,400 per person, including your Royal County Down tee time. Final pricing will depend on your travel dates, group size, accommodation preferences, additional golf courses and final 2028 supplier rates.
