Meet our US Golf Ambassador

When it comes to all things golf, few are more passionate and dedicated as Caleb Kelley. With the recent appointment as USA Golf Ambassador to mygolfGroup Travel, Caleb is ready to embark on a new journey, spreading the word about golfing in Ireland and showcasing the incredible golf experiences the country has to offer.
Caleb's journey in the world of golf began at a young age of 10 years in northeast Georgia, where he soon fell in love with the game. Growing up, he honed his skills at Butternut Creek Golf Course (USA), where he also worked as a cart attendant, gaining invaluable experience in the industry from an early age. Recognising Caleb's talent and dedication, Young Harris College (USA), a NCAA Division II Institution, offered him a golf scholarship, where he competed for the Young Harris Mountain Lions for five seasons and even served as team captain for two of those seasons. His leadership skills and commitment to excellence on and off the course were evident to all.
After graduating from Young Harris College, Caleb's passion for golf led him back to alma mater, where he accepted the position of Assistant Men's and Women's Golf Coach. His dedication and knowledge of the game quickly propelled him into the role of Head Men's and Women's Coach, and he was later promoted to Director of Golf. Under Caleb's guidance, the Young Harris Mountain Lions experienced unprecedented success, achieving new heights in their golfing endeavors.
Now, as the Golf Ambassador for mygolfGroup Travel, Caleb is excited to embark on a new chapter in his golfing career. His main responsibility will be to promote golf in Ireland, a country known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and world-class golf courses. Caleb's love for the game and his ability to connect with people make him the perfect candidate to spread the word about all thing golf in Ireland.
Through engaging content, social media presence, and personal interactions, Caleb aims to inspire golf enthusiasts to explore Ireland as a premier golfing destination. Whether it's organising golf trips, providing insider tips, or highlighting the camaraderie that the sport fosters, Caleb will be at the forefront of promoting all that golfing in Ireland has to offer.
With his deep knowledge of the game and his firsthand experience as a golfer, coach, and director of golf, Caleb is well-equipped to showcase the unique golfing experiences that await travellers to Ireland. From iconic courses such as Old Head Golf Links, Ballybunion Golf Club, Tralee Golf Club, and Waterville Golf Club to hidden gems like Carne Golf Links, Enniscrone Golf Club, County Sligo Golf Club (just to name a few), Caleb will be the main point of contact for all USA golfers looking to embark on a bucket list golf vacation to Ireland.
